Sunand Prasad

Sunand is co-founder of architectural practice Penoyre & Prasad and contributes to its overall design philosophy.

As president of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) from 2007 to 2009, Sunand was responsible for a number of projects designed to focus the energies of the profession on the need to address climate change, and he was voted one of the Independent’s top 100 environmentalists for his work in ‘greening the RIBA’. He continues to highlight the profession’s actual and potential contribution to combating climate change.
