Anna Kajosaari, MSc, is a PhD student at department of Built Environment in Aalto University, Finland. Anna’s research interests lie in health promoting environments and active living, particularly in the impact of built environment characteristics on active transportation and physical activity. Anna’s PhD research focuses on the use of public participation GIS (PPGIS) in mapping individual health behaviors and perceived health benefits of everyday environments. Her most current research concentrates on the use of leisure-time physical activity environments.
Anna’s PhD research is a part of Aalto University’s research project PLAN-H - Health Promoting Urban Environments.
